David founded Colonial Chemicals with his wife Lorna at the age of 29. Having worked previously for Elite Chemicals, David combined his knowledge of chemicals and background in farming and agriculture to provide industrial chemicals and cleaning products to regional areas of NSW. David is Colonial’s visionary; his ability to problem-solve, thirty years of chemistry studies and charisma make him an inspiring leader. David pastors a local church in Bendemeer NSW and works tirelessly to serve his local community.

Lorna co-founded Colonial Chemicals with her husband David from their family home in Moonbi NSW at the age of 28. With four small children at home their youngest child, Sarah, was just six weeks old when Colonial made its first sale. If David is the driver of Colonial, Lorna is the engine propelling their business forward. Lorna’s background in finance and administration complements David’s vision and drive thanks to her knowledge of accounting, attention to detail, consistency and passion for helping people. Today, Lorna continues to manage all aspects of Colonial’s finance and administration along with her team of four. Lorna co-pastor’s Bendemeer Faith Community Church alongside her husband, David.
